He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee and Matilda Nordyke (Cheeseman); and his sister Anita McKnown. He is survived by: his wife Georgette Nordyke of Winfield; his children, Mark Nordyke (Marie) of Patterson, NJ, Brad Nordyke (Carmen) of Rancho Viejo, TX, Stephanie Timmis-Nordyke (Melani) of Delray Beach, FL, Nancy Nelson (Chris) of Decatur, IL and Billy Nordyke, Jr. of Brownstown, MI; his grandchildren, Brad Nordyke, Jr., Brayden Nordyke, Mark Nordyke, Jr., Andrew Nordyke, Matthew Nordyke, Corran Nelson and Brendan Nelson; and his sisters, Bernita DenHartog of Lincoln, NE and Janice Underwood (Donald) of Coralville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warriors Project or to the Parkinsons Foundation.
