It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy D. Baxter of Winfield, Iowa, born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kemp and Izetta Pearl Baxter (Caudill); and his siblings, George, Leeroy, David and Margarette.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Jo Ellen Wood of Winfield; his children, William Baxter of Mount Pleasant and Gayle Baxter of Washington; and his siblings, Jim Baxter of Medicine Lodge, Carl Baxter (Kay) of Keosauqua, Mona Gates (David) of New London, Anna Lloyd (Carl) of New London and June Moeller (Curt) of Brownsville, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established to assist the family with funeral expenses.
