Vera E. Sessler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 101, Vera E. Sessler of Wilton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ihlefeld and Ella Ihlefeld (Schmidt); her husband Arthur J. Sessler; her grandson Curtis Sessler; her daughter-in-law Theresa Sessler; and her siblings, Erna Logan, Bruno, Albert and Edgar Ihlefeld.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Carroll (Mark) of LeClaire, Richard Sessler (Mary Alice) of Muscatine and Roger Sessler (Lisa) of Wilton; and her grandchildren, Sarah Sessler Liederbach, John Sessler, Matthew Carroll and Nathan Carroll. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-great granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Camp Courageous.
