She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonardus and Maria Catharina Oolders (Beelen); her husband Ronald Klerk of Reus; and her brother-in-law Max Van Leem. She is survived by: her children, Ron Klerk (Laura), Wilton and Mary Rose (Scott) of Urbana, Illinois; her grandchildren, Ronald Klerk (Jennifer), Jason Klerk (Jessica) of Reus, Katie Petersen (Kurtis) and Kelly Rose; and her sister Lenie Van Leem of Schiedam, Netherlands. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Muscatine County Humane Society or the Wilton Public Library in her memory.
