It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandie Hook of Wilton, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Grimm and Frances Grimm (Zogelman); and her brother Dick Grimm. She is survived by: her children, Andrea Martinez (John) of Fruitland and Michael Hook (Kristy) of Wilton; her grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Samantha, Matthew Martinez, Meggan, Catie, Nathan and Collin Hook; her siblings, Cheyrel McConahay (Mike) of Russell and Keith Grimm of Wapello; and her sister-in-law Cindy Grimm of Letts. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to assisted with the backpack program and school supplies of children within school districts of Wapello, Wilton, West Liberty and Wayne Community Schools.
