He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barrett and Gladys Barrett (Myers); his brother Jim; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Tim Barrett (Deanna) of Wilton, Trent Barrett (Holly) of Wilton and Taryn Keppy (Dennis) of Blue Grass; and his sisters, Barb Carlson of Story City and Becky Cobb (Larry) of Waukee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (1401 Maurer St, Wilton, IA 52778). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family which will be used to support the Wilton community.
