He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Richard and Beatrice Swank Stammer; his wife Marilyn Phyllis Gochanour; his brother Robert; and his grandson Jess.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Stammer (Dianna) of Muscatine, Kevin Stammer of Wilton, Clay Stammer of Cedar Rapids and Todd Stammer (Stephanie) of Muscatine; and his grandchildren, Dwayne Stammer, Rick Stammer, Carrie Stammer, Elise Hepker and Lauren Petty.
