We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2019, at the age of 92, Phyllis Freeland (Wilton, Iowa), born in Tipton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Martens and Winnifred Martens (Gritton); her husband George Warren Freeland Sr.; her son George Freeland Jr.; and her siblings, Edward Martens Jr., Evelyn Simester, Beverly Oepping and Gaylene Holladay.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Cole (Jay) of Noblesville, IN and Joyce Freeland (Kim) of Wilton; her daughter-in-law Pam Freeland of Wilton; her grandchildren, Jaime Whitlock (Jeff), Holly Hull (Jamie), Josh Cole (Allison), Zach Cole (Heather), Heidi Healy (David), Samantha Hill (Thomas) and Ben Cole (Nichole); and her brother Richard Martens (Mary Ann) of West Milton, OH.. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
