She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Barkalow and Geraldine Barkalow (Phelps); her husband Billy R. Salyars; her children, Gerri Lynn Ratzlaff, William Salyars and Geoff Salyars; and her sisters, Frances Gaunt and Lila Barkalow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Barkalow (Charlie White) of Muscatine and Tricia Salyars (Jon Koppenhaver) of Wilton; and her sisters, Patti Burns of Davenport and Judi Nicol (John) of Moscow, Iowa. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home (302 W 5th St, Wilton, IA 52778). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
