She was predeceased by: her father Richard Powers. She is survived by: her mother Bess Powers (Stewart); her husband Pastor Patrick Slessor; her sons, Roderick and Lachlan; and her brothers, Patrick Powers of Wapello and Kelly Powers of Wapello.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the benefit of her children.
