With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joanne Hinkhouse of Wilton, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joanne left this world on November 16, 2024 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joanne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joanne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Laucamp and Frances Laucamp (Anderson); her sister Barbara Hansen; and her sister-in-law Diane Laucamp. She is survived by: her husband Lysle Hinkhouse; her daughters, Lisa Simpson (Marc) of West Liberty, Angela Reed (Roger) of Bradenton and Dana Hullinger (Troy) of Davis City, Iowa; and her brother Robert Laucamp of Minnesota. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church of Wilton (1401 Maurer St, Wilton, IA 52778). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church of Wilton.
