It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Sherwood of Wilton, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sherwood and Helene Sherwood (Moore); his stepmother Joylene Sherwood; his brother William Sherwood; and his brother-in-law Roger Strefling.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Taylor; his children, Robert Sherwood (Jamie) of Fenton and Susan Hartung (Matt) of Wilton; his stepdaughters, Marjorie Oveson (Ron) of Wilton, Madonna Hagen (Justin) of Moscow and Megan Goaley (Matt) of Reynolds, Iowa; and his sisters, Karen Strefling of Tipton, Kathy Bowie (Bob) of Crossville and Kristy King (Jim) of Moscow. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Wilton High School Alumni Association Endowment Fund in his memory.
