He was predeceased by: his father Harold Nelson, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Frances Nelson, Sr. (Jensen); his daughters, Becky McAlister (Chris) of Durant and Cheryl Nelson of Silvis, Illinois; and his siblings, Harold Nelson, Jr. (Mary) of Wilton, Carl Nelson (Pamela), Linda Halligan (John) of Greeley and Lois Nelson of Wilton, Iowa.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
