It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Stoelk of Wilton, Iowa, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Reno and Gladys Reno (Lounsberry); her husband Wilbert Stoelk; and her brothers, Vance Reno, Ollie Reno and John Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Stoelk (Lori) of Canton, OH and Kathy Escher (Joe) of Wilton; her grandchildren, Eric Escher (Kelsey) of Maple Grove, MN, Matt Escher (Rachel) of Peoria, IL, Mark Escher (Jennifer) of North Liberty, IA, Steven Stoelk of Hilliard, OH and Lauren Stoelk (Mike Zupanc) of Minneapolis, MN; and her great grandchildren, Tobin, Tinley, Bennett of Peoria, IL, Leo, Rosie of North Liberty, IA and Augie of Minneapolis, MN..
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bentley Funeral Home (302 W 5th St, Wilton, IA 52778). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
