She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blake and Florence Blake (Burzell); her husband Alvin F. Plett; her son Bruce Plett; her sister Emily Vogt; and her son-in-law Jack Beaird.
She is survived by: her children, Bambi Beaird of Muscatine and Brian Plett (Lesa) of Little Elm, Texas; her grandchildren, Kindra Plett, Caitlin Beaird, John Beaird, Emilee Plett and Kaycee Plett; her great grandchild Rylan; her daughter-in-law Janell Plett of Bettendorf; and her sisters, Judy Doak (John) of Muscatine, Phyllis Jerrel (Robert) of Mystic and Rosemary Bowstead of Muscatine.
