It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Franklin Hynds of Williamsburg, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Hynds (Dobrovsky) and Darrell Hynds; his wife Sandra Lea Stephenson; his stepfather Paul Hallberg; and his brother-in-law Sid Stueland.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Hynds (Amy) of Sioux City and Robert Hynds of North Liberty; his grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Hynds of Sioux City; his sister Sharon Stueland of Rush City; and his stepbrother Paul Hallberg Jr. (Karen) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be directed to a scholarship fund being set up in his memory at Williamsburg High School or to the First Presbyterian Church's youth mission trip fund.
