Valerie Lou touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Norman; and her sister Brenda McMenomy. She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Brian Mattison (Rhonda) of Marengo and Sara Fricke (Chris) of Williamsburg; her grandchildren, Austin, Brooke (Mekhi), Ashton, Reese and Payten; and her siblings, Robert Schultz (Mindy) of Leveen, AZ and Michelle Holst (Christopher) of Van Horne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Powell Funeral Home-Williamsburg (407 N Highland St, Williamsburg, IA 52361). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
