He is survived by: his wife Maralyn Stahl; his children, Jeff (Lisa Slaymaker) of Williamsburg and Sherri Slaymaker (Peter Knowles) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Eric Slaymaker (Jess), Cord Slaymaker (Erin Foster), Kali Slaymaker (Chance Wetjen), Olivia Knowles and Will Thomas Knowles; his great grandchildren, Charlie Ann Slaymaker and Brooks Thomas Wetjen; and his sister Nancy Roberts of Williamsburg.
