He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Teggatz and Elsie Teggatz; and his friends, Chelsea, Toby and Ellie Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Schaefer; his sons, Chris Teggatz (Tanya Teggatz) of Cedar Rapids, Curt Teggatz (Susan Teggatz) of Carroll and Chad Teggatz of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Emma, Anna, Katie, John Teggatz of Cedar Rapids, Charlie, Will and Jack Teggatz of Carroll; his niece Cara Estes (Commander Adam Estes); his great-nephews, Aaron of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Henry of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Charlie of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his nephew Elliot Fast of Omaha. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, or to the Williamsburg Lions Club Leader Dog Program.
