It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Carmel Detweiler (Williamsburg, Iowa), born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Grusnick and Ursella Grusnick (Michals); her spouse Marion Detweiler; her son Edward James; and her siblings, George Grusnick, Marjorie Rechek, Laverne Hesprich and Virginia Krause.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Detweiler (Carolyn) of Parnell, Jim Detweiler (Mary) of Williamsburg, Tom Detweiler (Carrie) of Parnell and Kathy Schrock (Allen) of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Shana Kargbo (Moses) of Cedar Rapids, Vanessa Vega (Chris) of Cedar Rapids, Aleasha LeClere (Chris) of Cedar Rapids, Shantell Krabill of Parnell, Stacy Jones (Kyle) of Williamsburg, Tyrel Detweiler (Margaret) of Richwood, Jordan Detweiler (Kate) of Williamsburg, Joel Detweiler of Williamsburg, Tiffani Detweiler of West Branch and Rachel Detweiler of Parnell. She is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the St. Michael's Cemetery.
