He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rae Wise; his sons, Nicholas Ahrens (Ceara) of Parker and Michael Ahrens (Cathy) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Bayley, Avery, Riley, Kobe and Zoey; and his siblings, Marilyn Murphy of Williamsburg, Ruth Ann Tatone of Los Angeles and Gerald Ahrens (Rita) of Silver Springs, Maryland..
