It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Folkmann (Williamsburg, Iowa), who passed away on October 9, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Folkmann and Sophie Folkmann (Baack); his spouse Elfrieda Louise Ficken; his siblings, Clarence Folkmann, Richard Folkmann, Merlin Folkmann, Florence Schaeffer and Edna Schmidt; and his daughter-in-law Sondra Folkmann.

He is survived by: his children, Roger Folkmann (Kathy) of Iowa City, Keith Folkmann (Carol) of Ames, Susan, Roberts of Williamsburg and Randy Folkmann (Christine) of Parnell; his sister Loretta Schlesselman of Williamsburg; and his sister-in-law Gladys Folkmann of Vinton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Highland Ridge Care Center or Lutheran Interparish School.
