She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee and Florence Alice Klaaren (Lowry); her stepfather Bobby D. Miller; and her parents-in-law, John F. and Mary Etheldene Garringer.
She is survived by: her husband Michael "Chip" Garringer; her daughter Raychael Baresel (Karl); her grandson Samuel of Williamsburg; her daughter Michaella Zimmerman (Zach) of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Jim Klaaren of Cedar Rapids, Steve Klaaren (Kathy) of Ladora and Ellen Wubbels (Morris) of New Sharon; her half-brother Larry Miller (Teresa) of New Sharon; and her pets, Bettee and Sallee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A general memorial fund has been established.
