He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Howard and Clara Evans (Goss); and his siblings, Evelyn Griffin, Ed Evans, Carl Evans, Lucille Raasch and Gladys Beasley.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn B. Holdinghaus; his children, Wayne Evans (Michelle) of Indianapolis, IN and Sandra Gillet (Rob) of Effingham, IL; and his sister Ruth Baker of Mesa, AZ.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the English Valley Care Center, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Lutheran Interparish School or donor's choice.
