Marlene Ann Dawson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Ann Dawson (Williamsburg, Iowa), who passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Shannahan and Ethel Goodman Shannahan; her husband Ken Dawson of Michael's Catholic Church; her brothers, Richard and Gary; and her siblings-in-law, Rita Shannahan, Gene Dawson and Leroy Dawson.

She is survived by: her children, Terry of Cedar Rapids, Tammy Bonnicksen (Bruce) of Rochester, Minnesota and Tim; her grandchildren, Jeff (Nicholle Chadwick-Dawson) of Parnell, Brooke Gowin of Overland Park, Paige Gowin and Thaddeus Bonnicksen of Rochester; her great grandchild Andy Kueter-Chadwick of Oxford; her siblings, Emmett Shannahan of Williamsburg and Barb Schroeder (Lowell) of Maquoketa; and her brothers-in-law, Bernard Dawson of Keota, Patrick Dawson (Geneva) of Moscow Mills and Tom Dawson of Torrance, California. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
