He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Rowe; his nephew Justin Rowe; and his friend Scott Gingerich. He is survived by: his mother Florine Rowe (Iburg); his daughter Julie Maxfield (Chad) of North Liberty; his grandchildren, Taylor (Abbie) of Coralville, Wesley (Christy) of Williamsburg, Rylea of North Liberty, Jack of North Liberty and Owen Maxfield of North Liberty; his great grandchildren, David, Owen, Fynlee, Raylen and Mayvin; his brothers, Douglas Rowe (Diane) of Conroy and David Rowe (Christina Thomas) of Williamsburg; and his nieces and nephews, Aaron, Azariah, Jared, Jacob Rowe, Cody Thomas, Sarah Rogness and Alisha Calow.
A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice, LIS Scholarship Fund & Disabled Veterans Association.
