She was predeceased by: her parents, James Austin and Mary Austin (Ely); her husband Robert Durr; her brother James Austin (Jean); her parents-in-law, Orville, Elizabeth Von Ahsen and Charles Durr; her nieces, Brenda Evans and Janice Curl; and also Tom Slaymaker.
She is survived by: her uncle Eugene Ely; her children, Linda Allar of Marengo and Steven Durr (Marna) of Williamsburg; her grandchildren, Dale Allar of Orchard, Matthew Durr (Theresa) of Casper and Anna Durr of Dyersville, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Nicole, Bobbi Jo Allar of Williamsburg, William and Thomas Durr of Casper, Wyoming; her sister-in-law Donna Durr of Forsyth, Missouri; and her friends, Maralyn Slaymaker of Williamsburg, David of Williamsburg and Denisa Leubka of Williamsburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for the English Valley Care Center and Alzheimer Association of Iowa.
