She was predeceased by: her father Charles Rene Bruggeman; her sister Patricia Bruggeman; and her brother-in-law Jerry Garringer. She is survived by: her significant other Larry Lingle of Williamsburg; her mother Harriet Bruggeman (DeRycke) of Brooklyn; her siblings, Mike (Connie Andrews) of Walford, Carol Garringer of Eugene, Susie DeSmet (Jim) of Victor, Jane Krauss (Steve) of Amana, Mary Boeding (Rollie) of Middleton and Beth Schultz (Jim Knoblauch) of Montezuma, Iowa; and her stepchildren, Jennifer Kiggins (Tony) of DeWitt and Timothy Lingle (Katie) of Rock Ledge, Florida. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Joan Lingle Memorial Fund, which will benefit local organizations of the family's choice.
