He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Slaymaker; and his brother Jay Thomas Slaymaker. He is survived by: his mother Maralyn Slaymaker (Stahl) of Williamsburg; his wife Lisa Hull; his children, Eric Slaymaker (Jess) of Williamsburg, Cord Slaymaker (Erin) of New London and Kali Slaymaker (Chance Wetjen) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Charlie Ann Slaymaker and Brooks Thomas Wetjen; his sister Sherri Slaymaker (Peter Knowles) of Denver, CO; his niece Olivia Knowles; and his nephew Will Knowles.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Williamsburg Fire Department.
