James Garringer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Garringer (Williamsburg, Iowa), born in Parnell, Iowa, who passed away on June 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Garringer and Esta Garringer (Brown); his brothers, Keith, Ralph, Vernon, Bill, Orville Garringer and Howard Brown; and his daughter-in-law Debra Garringer.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Kleinmeyer of North English; his children, Dan Garringer (Laurie), Ed Garringer of Williamsburg, Becky Berstler (Dan) of Marengo, Nancy Van Patten (Gary) of What Cheer and Ron Garringer (Deb) of Williamsburg; his sister Betty Van Dee of Vining; and his sister-in-law Darlyn Garringer of Williamsburg. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the English Valley Care Center or Essence of Life Hospice.
