It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Kevin Sauter (Williamsburg, Iowa), who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael F Sauter and Agatha Mary Sauter (Wagner); his siblings, Claire, Jim, Paul Sauter, Mary Kathleen Sauter, Barbara DeDecker, Joan Hadley and Kay Joens; and his grandson Matthew Agnew.
He is survived by: his wife Dee Dee of Williamsburg; his children, Shari Harwood (Dann) of Norway, Julie Meyer (Don) of Deep River, Amy Greene (Steve) of Deep River, Jerry Sauter (Shannon) of New River and Joe Sauter (Erika) of Williamsburg; his siblings, Audrey Weldon of Williamsburg and Michael Sauter of Deep River; and his sister-in-law Marge Sauter of North English. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren.
A general memorial fund has been established.
