It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Rose Schmidt (Williamsburg, Iowa), who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Zuber and Gladys Zuber (Baker); and her sister Viola Davis. She is survived by: her former husband Ronald Schmidt; and her children, Dennis Schmidt (Pam) of Cedar Park, TX, Kathryn Vaughn, Rhonda Mezner (John) of Santa Fe, NM, Steve Schmidt (Tracy) of Williamsburg, Annie Baker (Tim Lewis) of Iowa City, Pam Schmidt (S. Audie Foster) of Rocklin, CA, Tim Schmidt (Anya) of Trophy Club, TX, Jeremy Schmidt (Lucy) of Grinnell and Jonathan Schmidt of Williamsburg. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
