Edna E. Stangland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna E. Stangland (Williamsburg, Iowa), who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Adolph Dietrich Doehrmann and Anna Louise Doehrmann (Glandorf); her husband Edward Warren Stangland; her children, Kenneth Stangland and Sandra Strouse; and her siblings, Herbert Doehrmann and Elesa Slager.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Green (David) of Central City; her son-in-law Robert Strouse of Malon, TX; her grandchildren, Sumer Myers, Ansara Kula (Tim), Veriah Kula (Vern), Erika Decker (Doug) and Tyler Strouse (Erin); and her siblings, Raymond Doehrmann of Williamsburg, Mildred Shutterle of Norway and Olga Hauder of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lutheran Interparish School and Holden's Comprehensive Cancer Center.
