He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Teggatz and Olga Teggatz (Schwarting); his brother-in-law Ronald Van Dee; and his stepfather Lothar Huedepohl. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Alsager; his children, Darla Lehmkuhl (Monte) of Williamsburg, Lowell Teggatz of Oxford, Douglas Teggatz (Sherry) of Rock Island and Wendy Lohmann (Craig) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Christian Lehmkuhl, Jacob Lehmkuhl, Ethan Lohmann, Sarah Lohmann, Caleb Lohmann, Natalie Lohmann, Nicholas Lohmann, Anna Campbell (Zachary), Joshua Teggatz and Erin Teggatz; and his siblings, Ralph Teggatz (Lois) of Waterloo, Nancy Van Dee of Oxford, Janice Goldsmith (Gordon) of Seward and Kathy Stockman (Gerald "Bub") of Oxford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
