Barbara Anne Tiernan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Anne Tiernan of Williamsburg, Iowa, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy R. Wilhelm and Irene M. Wilhelm (Maloney); her husband Jack; and her siblings, Lacy Wilhelm, Jr., Lawrence Wilhelm, Jerry Wilhelm and Jean Green.
She is survived by: her stepfather Robert Morton; her children, John Tiernan (Patti) of Williamsburg, Robert Tiernan (Regina) of Marion, Michael Tiernan (Susan) of Marion, Susie O'Rourke (Dan) of Williamsburg and Meredith Carter (Chris) of Iowa City; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Donohoe of Parnell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to VFW Auxiliary or Williamsburg Community Schools.
