He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sweedler and Olive Sweedler (Lauer); his wife Arlene (Mogle); his sister Vivian Heiden; and his siblings-in-law, Herbert Heiden, William Mogle, Fred Mogel, Earl Cramer, Larry Mogle, Mae Etta Cramer and Shirley Mogle.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Moore (Douglas) of Wichita, KS and Wesley Sweedler (Cindi) of Williams, IA; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Moore (Karen) of Wichita, KS, Matthew Moore (Terri Wolfe) of Wichita, KS, Elizabeth Sweedler of Williams, IA and Kyle Sweedler of Williams, IA; his great grandchildren, Kayla Hart-Jones of Wichita, KS and Morgan Hart-Jones of Toronto, ON; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Mogle of Hammond, IN and Marlene Mogle of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
