Bernice Brighton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Brighton (Williams, Iowa), who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Smith and Margaret Smith (Maubach) of Blairsburg, Iowa.; her husband Harold Brighton; her children, Veronica, Rosemary and Bill; and her daughter-in-law Carla Howser.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret McJunkin (Curt), John (Ann) and Steve of Des Moines; her daughter-in-law Kristina (Bill) of Ankeny; and her brothers, Robert (Arliss) of Ellsworth and Harold (Cecilia) of Dunlap. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations go to the Alzheimer's Society or the American Cancer Society.
