She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Thorson and Inga A Thorson (Bratlie); her husband Berwyn Zander; her daughters, Dianne Zander and Elaine Janssen (Duane); and her granddaughter Angela.
She is survived by: her former husband John O. Evans; and her son Harris Zander (Karen) of Latimer, Iowa. She is also survived by four grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
