He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Hauser and Gladys Hauser (Reece); his wife Delores Houghton; his children, Denise Lynk (Gary) of Marshalltown and Dan Hauser (Cindy) of Whitten; his grandchildren, Katy Lynk and Josh (Beth); his children, Gracie, Jace, Addy, Cecilia, Landry, Myla, Kyle Hauser (Jen McLarney), Megan Hauser (Taylor Simons), Marcie (Brendan), Paisley and Cason; his stepgrandson Matt (Laura); his sister-in-law Ann Hauser of Conrad; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Hauser; his parents-in-law, Clem and Sara Houghton; his siblings, Dale Hauser and Donna Mae Barnard; and his nephew Lynn B. Hauser. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Whitten Community Church or the Hauser Cemetery.
