It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Fandel (Whittemore, Iowa), born in Greenville, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Crawford and Tracy Crawford (Heien); and her spouse Francis M. Fandel. She is survived by: her children, Linda Vaudt (Curt) of Whittemore, Dale Fandel (Sue) of Tega Cay, SC, Roxanne Krieps of Sexton, Norman Fandel (Tammie) of Jefferson, Mark Fandel of Milan, MI, Jan Capesius (Mike) of Lu Verne and Phillip Fandel (Wanda) of Bowie, TX; her daughter-in-law Jan Fandel; her sisters-in-law, Marian Youngwirth and Ilene Fandel; her children, Diane and David; her son-in-law Jack Krieps; and her sisters, Joan Schuller (Tom) and Gloria Rochleau (Gene). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
