He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Eischen and Anna Eischen (Bormann); his wife Ruth; his son-in-law Michael O'Keefe; and his siblings, Marvin, Robert Eischen and Verna Pfeffer.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Dereng (Larry) of Woodruff, SC, Tom Eischen (Jane) of Algona and Bette O'Keefe of Loveland, CO; his grandchildren, Ben, Chris, Eric, Gabriel, Brenden, Egan, Sara and Katie; his brother Harold Eischen of Wesley; and his siblings-in-law, Stella Eischen of Algona, Wilma Muller of Algona, Jane Scott of Burt and Jim Buscher of Algona. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
