She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kirsch and Mary Kirsch (Origer); her husband Gerald Elbert; her sons-in-law, Herman Dippel and Norman Smith; her siblings, Peter, Lawrence Kirsch, Rosalia Borman and Agnes Eischen; her sisters-in-law, Regina Kirsch and Herlinda Kirsch; and her brothers, Patrick (Luella Murphy), Ray (Alma Abbas), Leonard (Millie Elbert), Francis (Coletta Mullin) and Edmund (Mary Elbert).
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Elbert (Kim) of Blairsburg, IA, Sandra Dippel of Omaha, NE, Patricia Smith of Goodyear, AZ, Jane Studer of Fort Dodge, IA and Ronald Elbert of Ames, IA.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
