Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rose Marie Kirby of Whiting, Iowa, born in Early, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 91, on November 15, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl W. Lenz and Madeline C. Lenz (Koewler); her siblings, Patricia Graff, Marlene Lenz and Carl "Bill" Lenz, Jr.; her husbands, James Phillips and Raymond Kirby; her son Thomas Kirby; and her granddaughter Christina Rose Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kirby (Amy) of Temecula, CA, Mark Kirby (Heidi) of Belton, MO, Dana Kirby (Beth) of Whiting, Francis Kirby of Rose Hill, KS, Martin Kirby of Rose Hill, KS, Pat Oehler (Mike) of Missouri Valley, IA, Kathy Kirby of Omaha, NE, Gale Kirby of Littleton, CO, Mary Kirby of Denver, CO and Faith Baumhover (Steve) of Omaha, NE; and her daughter-in-law Suzi Kirby of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be 10:30 A. M. Friday, November 20, 2020 at St. John Catholic Church, Onawa, IA with Father Michael Erpelding officiating. (Social distancing measures must be followed- Due to Covid-19 restrictions- Masks are required for the visitation and service.).
In lieu of flowers, suggested are memorials in Rose Marie's name to St. John Catholic Church, 1009 13th Street, Onawa, IA, 51040 and St. James Church, 4710 N 90th Street, Omaha, NE 68134.
