She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hale and Myrna Hale (Law); her husband Arnold Brenden; her son George Brenden; her sisters, Ruth Swan (Elmer), Ellen MacClure (George), Mollie Rowe (Terry) and Rose Holloway (Rod); and her siblings-in-law, Donna Williams, Lois Leapley (Neil), Gale Brenden (Joann), Doris Nelson (Barney) and Bert McCandless.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Sweeten (Calvin) of Overland Park, Janice Burton (Todd) of Des Moines, Bonnie Mandrell (Billy) of Clinton, Charles Brenden (Shirley) of Sun City and Casey Jester (John) of Onawa, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Ardis McCandless of Whiting, Iowa. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
