With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marco A. Duarte Sr. of Whiting, Iowa, who passed away on April 17, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Duarte and Grace Duarte; his close friend Josephine DiMeola; his son Mitchell Duarte; and his sister Mary.
He is survived by: his sons, Marco "Mike" Duarte (Sheila) of Onawa and Marshall Duarte of Rutherford; his grandchildren, Alyssa Wojcik (Jason) of Whiting, Robyn Jetton (Lief) of Sioux City, Marco Duarte, III of Onawa and Maria Duarte of Rutherford; his great grandchildren, Claire Wojcik and Jack Wojcik; and his siblings, Hank Duarte of Florida and Monica Duarte of New York. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
