Fern Evelyn Garred Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2022, at the age of 96, Fern Evelyn Garred of Whiting, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Doren and Blanche Van Doren (Whitworth); her husband John L. Garred Sr. M. D.; her daughter Ann M. Garred D. D. S.; her sister Nancy; her brother-in-law Robert Lovejoy; her niece Tracy Waldock; her parents-in-law, Ulysses V. Garred D. D. S. and Florence Garred; and her siblings-in-law, William P. Garred M. D and Marilyn Garred.
She is survived by: her son John Garred Jr. (Kathryn); her grandsons, John Garred (Sarah) of Burleson, TX and Matthew Garred (Laura) of Whiting, IA; her great grandchildren, Samuel Garred and Dakota Garred; and her niece Julie Lovejoy of Edgewood, WA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Whiting Christian Church, the Whiting Public Library, or the Burgess Health Center Foundation.
