She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gerdes and Quinta Gerdes (DeLong); her husband Dwight Teel; her parents-in-law, Vess and Marie Teel (Steele); her granddaughter Jennifer Teel; and her sister Donna Chamberlain.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Teel (Julie) of Whiting, Nancy Madsen (Dave) of Whiting, Tom Teel of Novato and Lori Teel; her grandchildren, Adam Teel (Dawn), Jessica Teel (Jeremy Gabel), Carrie Dietschy (David), Chad Madsen (Crystal) and Candace Madsen; her great grandchildren, Blaine, Braiden, Blair, Lauryn, Brenyn, Karsyn, Brayden, Chase, Carley, Caleb, Paxton, Swayzi, Callum and Barrett; her brother Ray Gerdes (Sue) of Sparks, Nevada; and her brother-in-law Jack Chamberlain of Albuquerque. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hornick United Methodist Church (411 5th St, Hornick, IA 51026). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM.
