With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecile Gay of Whiting, Iowa, born in Hornick, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2021 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Rysdam and Bertha Rysdam (Able); her husband Claire Gay; and her siblings, Harold, Paul, Max, Dale Rysdam and Opal Pauk.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Gay (Tonnie) of Rogue River, Roger Gay (Susan) of Umatilla, Bob Gay (Kathy) of Sloan and Vicki Koenig of Sloan, Iowa; her sister Virginia Larson of Whiting, Iowa; her grandchildren, Wayne, Wendy, Gail, Debbie, Jenny, Brian and Brad; her great grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Rachel, Danelle, Chelsea, McKenzie, Nicole, Tristan, Taylor, Jaxson, Janie, Joanna, Finley and Isla; and her great great grandchild Marshall.
A funeral service will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Community Church of Christ, Sloan, Iowa with Dr. Emery Killian and Pastor Kody Killian officiating. (Social distancing measures must be followed, Due to Covid-19 restrictions- Masks are required for the visitation and service.).
