Westergaard of Whiting, Iowa, born in Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Reese and Mabel Reese (Martin); her husband Augie Westergaard; her son Kent Westergaard; her brother Harold "Jug" Reese; her granddaughter Adrienne Westergaard; and her great grandchildren, Logan and Dean Bladt.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Westergaard (Vickie) of Sloan, James Westergaard (Kathy) of Mapleton and Mark Westergaard (Becky) of Whiting, Iowa; her grandchildren, Allison Dirksen (John), Kristen Bladt (Michael), Kelly Westergaard, Kari Stewart, David Westergaard (Nicole), Doug Westergaard and Makenzie Struble; her great grandchildren, Karissa, Destiny, Sadie Stewart, Daitin, Palmer Westergaard, Theo, Hugh Dirksen, Weston and Deacon Bladt; and her nephews, John Reese and Todd Reese. She is also survived by several other family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Carolyn's memory to the Burgess Foundation, Whiting Library, or Skien Lutheran Church.
