She was predeceased by: her parents, Tay Riedesel and Evelyn Riedesel; her brother Terry Riedesel; and her son-in-law Tom Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Gene Kemmann of Wheatland, IA; her children, Rhonda Carpenter of Grimes, IA and Dann Kemmann (Lisa) of Prosper, TX; her grandchildren, Aaron Carpenter (Mary), Kaitlyn Whalen (Dan), Kelsay Smitherman (Garrick), Allyson Nutt (Mason), Brynn Magill (Josh), Taylor Kemmann (Ashlyn) and Trent Carpenter (Amber); and her great grandchildren, Colby, Emily, Cameron Carpenter, Annie, Rhett Magill, Emery, Colter Smitherman and Kayce Kemmann.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ or the Parkinson's Foundation in her honor, or a charity of choice.
